Today our Junior Leadership Team were presented with their official badges. But they have already been working hard on raising money for good causes and supporting open evenings with the Community and Culture SL team, creating surveys and gathering data from pupil voice with the Data and Curriculum SL team and conducting learning walks with the Teaching and Learning SL team. To name but a few. We have so many more exciting things planned for them to support our leadership in our school with and I can't wait to see them flourish even more in their roles. They are the next generation of great Leaders. So I ask...What do you wish you knew about leadership before you became one? and/or What advice would you give to them as they start out on their journey? #leadership #education #skillsdevelopment #leadershipdevelopment #studentengagement #studentleadership
Leadership for me is about creating a culture where people feel valued, appreciated and happy to contribute ideas to a common goal or to solve a problem. Even a small team can make a huge change to any industry.
Love it

11moThis is brilliant 👏🏾 I learnt that leadership is all about service; it’s about those that you lead rather than about you. The second would be that to lead; you have to be going somewhere. So create a vision for the kind of school you want to be a part of and begin to work toward it. ⭐️
