🎉 The second day of BAFT (Bankers Association for Finance and Trade) MENA Bank-to-Bank Forum gets more and more interesting! 🌍 A highlight was 'Africa and MENA Partnership: A Roundtable Conversation', a dialogue on growth and partnerships led by select members of the BAFT Africa and MENA Councils. The discussion, which was open to all conference attendees, highlighted the points of similarity and common interest between the two regions. 💻 Right after it, Chris Southworth, Secretary General of International Chamber of Commerce UK moderated the panel ‘Leveraging Technologies to Digitize Trade Finance’'. Participants included Dominic Broom (SVP Working Capital Technology, Arqit UK); Kirsty Garrett (Global Head of Sales, Crown Agents Bank); Rohini Kamath (UAE Head of Global Trade Finance, Commercial Banking, HSBC); and Sinan Ozcan (Senior Executive Officer & Board Director, DP World Trade Finance). 🚀 The session focused on leveraging digital technologies to streamline trade finance processes and on ways for businesses in MENA to reduce costs and enhance efficiency. 🎸 Finally, what's more rock and role than transaction banking, trade, and payments?
