Traditional investment advice suggests buying a house over an apartment because house prices usually increase more in the long term. However, this isn't a universal truth. For instance, an apartment in one area might perform better financially than a house in another. While it’s rarer for apartments to outperform houses in the same suburb, recent Ray White research has identified 67 suburbs in Sydney where, over the year leading to February 2024, apartments surpassed houses in value growth. Notably, apartments in Kurraba Point on the lower North Shore, Lilyfield in the Inner West, and Edgecliff in the Eastern Suburbs experienced the biggest price increases compared to houses. #Sydneyproperty #Sydneyrealestate #Sydney
