🌟 Last weekend, a few TAPS surviving children had the unforgettable experience of visiting with Olympian and gold medalist Torri Huske! Torri first connected with this military family in December, when they enjoyed a fun-filled day swimming together. After her return from Paris, she invited them to her home, creating even more cherished memories. Not only did Torri share her inspiring Olympic journey, but she also let the kids hold her medals—a moment of pure joy and inspiration. As a special keepsake, she gifted them a poster from her medal stand, a beautiful symbol of her bond with our military families. A huge thank you to Torri for your continued kindness and for making a difference in the lives of these young survivors and their mom. Your generosity and patriotism inspire us all! 💙 🇺🇸 USA Swimming LA28 Olympic & Paralympic Games

CELEBRATE OUR VETERAN PARALYMPIANS Jaco Van Gass – Cycling Greg Stevenson – Para rower Stu Robinson – Wheelchair rugby Luke Pollard – Para-Triathlon 😮 If you’re anything like me, you’ll have been glued to the TV marvelling at the extraordinary feats these human beings have achieved. The strength through adversity is quite remarkable. 🏆 The impact of the Invictus Games, founded by Prince Harry in 2014, have played a pivotal role in highlighting the potential of wounded, injured, and sick servicemen and women. This international adaptive multi-sport event has become a powerful platform for veterans to rediscover their strength and purpose through sports. The success of the Invictus Games has not only raised awareness of the challenges faced by veterans but also inspired many to pursue Paralympic careers. 🥇The contributions of British veteran Paralympians extend beyond their medal counts. They serve as role models for resilience, showing that it is possible to overcome even the most significant obstacles. Their stories inspire not just fellow veterans, but also the broader public, reminding us all of the power of determination and the importance of supporting those who have served our country. 🥇The success of these athletes has helped to shift perceptions around disability and capability. By excelling in their sports, veteran Paralympians challenge stereotypes and demonstrate that physical limitations do not define one's potential. Their achievements in the Paralympic Games highlight the importance of inclusivity in all areas of life, from sports to the workplace. 👏 It makes me proud to be British watching these athletes perform. #Veterans #Military # armedforces # army # royalnavy # royalairforce

🏅 **Inspiration from the Paris Olympics 2024!** 🏅 A retired Turkish soldier made waves at the #ParisOlympics2024 by winning a silver medal in shooting, despite the odds. He had no specialized lenses, wore no eye cover, and used no ear protection. This achievement highlights a powerful lesson: **It's not about the equipment you have; it's about the mindset and skills you bring.** 💯 In a world where we often focus on acquiring the best tools and resources, this story reminds us that true success stems from dedication, resilience, and an unwavering belief in our abilities. Let's channel this spirit in our professional and personal endeavors, proving that with the right mindset, we can overcome any obstacle and achieve greatness. Keep pushing boundaries and striving for excellence! #Inspiration #Motivation #Olympics #Turkey #SuccessMindset #Resilience

The best thing I’ve done in the British Army. Countless soldiers say Nordic Skiing is exactly that, the best thing they’ve done in the British Army and Army Nordic’s latest video shows you why! The Army Winter Sports Association is an engine for change providing soldiers with opportunities only available because they serve in uniform. Robust and demanding training makes us more ready for whatever comes next! Nordic skiing exites and challenges all those who take part. No Olympic discipline tests the body more and the soldiers who race today follow in the footsteps of 57 Army Nordic Olympians. Just some of the benefits… Develop physical and mental resilience ✅ Learn how to create high performing teams ✅ Soldiers who can shoot straighter, ski faster and work smarter than before ✅ Create the British Biathlon Union Olympians of tomorrow ✅ Army Nordic is fantastically supported by Saab (Alex Alderson), Heckler & Koch USA, Team Forces, Army Sport Control Board and many others. Without their help the sport would not happen. Thank you! Introducing the Fourth Olympic Medal: 🥇 As a communications professional, I believe the Olympics should honor more than just physical prowess—they should celebrate the spirit and charisma athletes bring to the world stage. It's time for a fourth medal, awarded to the athlete with the most "rizz"! "Rizz," capturing charisma and charm, reflects the essence of sportsmanship and the ability to inspire. Athletes like Muhammad Ali, Serena Williams, and Usain Bolt have shown that winning hearts is as important as winning medals. But what should this new medal be called? Here are a few ideas: 1. **Titanium Medal**: Symbolizing strength and resilience. 2. **Platinum Medal**: Reflecting unique brilliance and rarity. 3. **Metal Medal**: Being “Metal” for a balanced elegance. 4. **Bold Medal**: Representing mystique and allure. Let's celebrate the athletes who bring joy, inspiration, and a touch of magic to the Games. What do you think? Which name best captures the essence of "rizz"? Share your thoughts below! 🏅✨ #Olympics #Innovation #Sportsmanship #Rizz International Olympic Committee – IOC

In the 2024 Paris Olympics, 51-year-old Turkish shooter Yusuf Dikeç captured the world's attention and a silver medal in the air pistol team event. His unique approach—shooting with one hand in his pocket and no fancy gear—was a breath of fresh air in a sport dominated by high-tech equipment. Dikeç's story isn't just about his remarkable win; it's a powerful lesson for all of us: • Age is just a number. Success can come at any stage of life. • You don't need fancy tools to excel. Skill and confidence can outshine expensive gear. • Stand out by being yourself. Authenticity is a magnet for inspiration. • Hard work always pays off. Determination trumps everything. Yusuf Dikeç reminds us that greatness comes from within. Whether you're chasing an Olympic medal or personal milestone, trust in your abilities and keep pushing forward. Your moment to shine could be just around the corner. #olympics #paris2024 #nevergiveup
