You're conducting remote training sessions. How can you ensure all participants feel heard and included? While conducting remote training session, connecting with participants on an individual level is a blessing, even if it is as simple as saying Hi to each person with their names as they are joining. A line or two of chit chat before the time of the meeting with simple questions like How long have you been with the organisation? Online Meeting Rooms are another blessing, while doing activity and discussions, you can put participants in smaller groups so that everyone feels involved and then they can come back to the main meeting and summarise what their group thinks/discussed. Asking Questions to ensure understanding, addressing them to any name on your screen, keeps people involved knowing they might be the next one who could get asked. #onlinetrainings #softskills #softskill #softskilltraining

In-person or virtual training? I used to think that trust could only be built in in-person sessions, where you can read the room, see body language, and feel the group's energy. However, after working with so many teams virtually, I’ve experienced how powerful these sessions can be in building connection, transparency, and openness. I have had to learn how to use the virtual room to its fullest potential, like using breakout rooms for small group discussions, providing facilitation, and designing interactive exercises. This leads to virtual sessions that can create great levels of trust and collaboration, much similar to what happens face-to-face. In fact, I’ve seen remote teams strengthen their relationships and improve communication in ways they didn’t think were possible. Sometimes virtual training gets a 'bad rap', but the benefits are clearly many, and they are here to stay. Virtual training removes barriers like location and travel while providing opportunities for meaningful growth. The truth is that for many companies, the option is either virtual training or no training. Personally, I always prefer training that actually takes place over no training! What is your experience with virtual vs in-person?
