Wishing all our Sensei community a happy Lunar New Year. Did you know snakes are widely recognised in east and southeast Asia for their wisdom, intuition and mystery? They are naturally strategic and make excellent problem-solvers. Time to get stuck into a problem solving course I think to channel that energy...

I looked into the Lunar New Year and found it interesting! The Lunar New Year marks the start of a new year based on the lunar calendar, celebrated in several Asian countries. In 2025, it's the Year of the Snake🐍, symbolizing wisdom, mystery, intuition, and transformation. People born under this sign are considered intelligent, strategic, perceptive, and sophisticated. 🔮 Key Traits Associated with the Snake: - Intelligence & Cunning : Analytical and good at decision-making. - Mystery & Charm : Often reserved but captivating. - Strong Intuition: Trust their instincts and read people/situations well. - Persistence & Resilience: Stay focused and determined to achieve their goals. Happy Lunar New Year! #lunarnewyear

🤩 Seeing Possibility in the Impossible: The sight of a tree suspended in the sky feels like an illusion, a dream—a vision so far removed from reality that it almost seems to mock the laws of nature. But this surreal image holds a powerful lesson: what feels impossible often lies just beyond the limits of our current understanding. Sometimes, what we label as “impossible” is simply a challenge inviting us to think differently. 👉 When we encounter a goal that feels out of reach, it’s easy to let our perspective become the wall that keeps us from even trying. Our minds are often grounded in the familiar, in the comfortable, and in the ‘tried and true.’ But growth happens when we’re willing to stretch beyond these boundaries, to look beyond what’s currently visible and dare to envision the unimaginable. Like the tree in the sky, suspended against all odds, we can learn to reach new heights by changing how we approach challenges. Instead of asking, “Is this possible?” we might ask, “What would it take to make this possible?” By reframing our thoughts, by asking questions that open rather than limit, we create space for innovation, resilience, and growth to emerge. Think of the times in history when something revolutionary felt out of reach—flight, space exploration, even the internet—all seemed impossible until someone shifted their thinking, reimagined the limits, and took steps to make the unreal real. Often, the “impossible” is simply an invitation to approach things in a new way, to find unexpected solutions, and to push past the boundaries of what we’ve known. So, when faced with your own “tree in the sky”—a goal or dream that feels unattainable—consider it an opportunity to shift your perspective. Look at it from different angles, explore new ideas, and remain open to creative solutions. You might just find that the impossible becomes possible the moment you allow yourself to see it differently. 🌄🌳 Embrace the challenge. Seek a new perspective. And remember, even the most surreal goals can become real with vision, courage, and a willingness to explore beyond the familiar. #BeyondImpossibility #NewPerspective #LimitlessGrowth #MakeItReal Want to break down those limits, connect with me https://lnkd.in/ezrtxjVW

You probably know about this, that once upon a time, humans believed that the earth had a flat horizontal base. Thoughts prevailing then were that if you travelled all the way to the horizon, you would simply fall over. However, early voyagers and explorers, centuries ago could not make it to the horizon. They nevertheless provided knowledge on the possibility to travel to far away places, than the earlier limiting thoughts. Fast-forward that to the Space Era, humanity now knows about a vast Universe extending far beyond Earth and into infinity. Imagine if we, as humans, didn't utilize the ability we have to learn and change our views about what is. Chances are we could still be confined in one place for fear of falling over the horizon. Now, consider your own limitations in life, and how much of that is possibly a result of you not embarking on a knowledge-seeking voyage. Just as the earlier explorers demonstrated, when you go out and seek for understanding and knowledge, your views and opinions change, and then the experience of life takes a new and exciting dimension. As always, I encourage you to take the path of a continuous and life-long learning experience, so you create possibilities to change your outlook on life for better. 🌍 The Lunar New Year is celebrated by an estimated 2 billion people worldwide (Chad de Guzman, TIME Magazine, January, 2024), but how often do we take the time to teach our students about the rich cultural traditions that shape our global community? In today’s interconnected world, it’s more important than ever to nurture compassion, empathy, and tolerance by introducing students to diverse cultures and worldviews. Understanding the significance of global celebrations, like the Lunar New Year, helps students build a broader perspective and deeper respect for the differences that make our world unique. At Jigsaw, we believe in empowering children and young people to examine and develop these values. That’s why we’ve created a FREE Lunar New Year activities pack to help teachers bring this global celebration to life in their classrooms. By learning about the traditions and customs of other cultures, we equip students with the tools to develop a more inclusive, respectful, and empathetic worldview. 👉 Access our Lunar New Year resources that support these essential learning outcomes here: https://ow.ly/wnEW50Up2vL #LunarNewYear #CulturalLearning #TeachingResources #Empathy #Tolerance #GlobalLearning #Teaching
