TC Core Values: Participation - the ability to influence one's environment and relationships is necessary for personal well-being. Being involved in decision-making is required for shared participation, responsibility, and ownership. I came across an interesting phrase last week: 'emotionally-driven but rationally-centred' it struck me that this might be useful in thinking about how to build participation.
