Here is just one example showing the high level of manufacturing of heat exchangers by FBM Hudson Italiana. Eight of the largest tube sheets ever with a diameter of 6.5m (21.327 ft) are being prepared to be drilled. Materials are CS-SS-LAS and are designed for IBW- Internal Bore Welding. Each tube sheet will have 5,569 holes. At the end of this drilling operation, FBM's machines will have drilled 44,552 holes. Gain a Better Understanding of Floating Ball Valves: Floating ball valves are a type of quarter-turn valve commonly used in industrial process lines to control the flow of liquids, gases, and even slurries. The defining feature of a floating ball valve is its ball, which is not fixed but "floats" within the valve body between the valve seats. This floating design allows the ball to move slightly downstream under the pressure of fluid, pressing against the downstream seat to create a tight seal. Key Components: Ball: The core component, typically made from stainless steel or other corrosion-resistant materials. Seats: Made from soft materials like PTFE (Teflon) Stem: The stem connects the ball to the handle or actuator and rotates the ball to open or close the valve. Best Applications: 1. General Pipeline Isolation: 2. Low to Medium Pressure Systems: 3. Corrosive Environments: - With the right materials, floating ball valves can be used in corrosive environments, such as in chemical processing plants where they may encounter aggressive chemicals. 4. Cryogenic Applications: - They are well-suited for low-temperature services in industries like LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas) production, where maintaining tight seals is critical. 5. Refinery and Petrochemical Processes: When selecting a valve, it's important to consider the specific operating conditions to ensure optimal performance and longevity. Pipeline steel API 5L X52 PSL1 indicates 52000 PSI minimum yield strength and 66000 PSI minimum ultimate tensile strength, which is equal to min. 360 Mpa API 5L X52 PSL1 yield strength and Min 460 Mpa API 5L X52 PSL1 tensile strength. Pipeline steel API 5L X52 PSL1 does not require the nondestructive inspection, while API 5L X52 PSL2 shall do nondestructive examination. API 5L X52 PSL2 steel has more strict requirements for chemical composition, tensile properties, impact energy, and nondestructive testing than pipeline steel API 5L X52 PSL1.

Not ALL motors are built the same. If you have a problem application that burns up the electric motor more than you’d like it to, drop an X$D Ultra in and start counting your savings. Competitvely built with Superior Quality. I invite you to put it to the test. Give me a call if you’d like to get your hands on one… or more. #xsdultra #superiormotor #LowestTotalCostOfOwnership
XSD Ultra Series Motors Just before the holidays, we loaded all of our XSD Ultra motor materials with updated branding and a fresh new look. This product family remains our flagship LV motor line. Based on over ten years of user research and engineering, Ultra motors have several features that allow them to excel in extra severe environments. The applications for these motors are typically with VFD's in oil and gas, petroleum, chemical, LNG, mining, mineral processing sites. Do you have an application that seems to quickly burn through motors? Well, get an application engineering analysis first. But also consider a robustly built motor that will handle the load for many years without a problem. https://lnkd.in/g-XJ9ruk

Harsh chemical environments, rapid explosive gas decompression, extreme temperatures and higher pressures are just some of the issues seals face as the challenge to extract oil and gas from more and more remote areas has an impact on seal design, material selection and life expectancy. Moontown have an impressive range of sealing materials and profiles that are specifically designed to meet the challenging and fiercely regulated requirements of the Oil and Gas market. All eight of our high-performance PEEK and PTFE materials suited for Sour Gas, Oil Production etc are approved and certified to the relevant NORSOK and API regulations. Aside from these we can offer one of the largest ranges of standard & performance PTFE materials in Europe from which our incredible range of Spring Energised Seals, Rotary Seals and Hydraulic Seals are produced with a superb range of springs, all wound and joined in house. Seal energisers can be supplied to suit standard or bespoke dimensions in NBR, HNBR, Silicone, EPDM or FPM. Elgiloy or Phynox energiser materials are approved to NACE MR0175. As extraction becomes harder, equipment is pushed deeper to reach previously unreachable resources, and as such temperatures and pressures have increased dramatically over the years and we believe that engineers should deal with manufacturing experts directly so we are perfectly equipped to deal with the most extreme applications. #oilandgas #ptfe #sealingsolutions #norsok #api #seals #peek #madeinbritain

Our people are currently laying the second and final pass with these Orbitig devices to weld 1925 tubes into this pipe plate. This heat exchanger is part of a larger project where we will soon replace 10 units in a shutdown of a large petrochemical site. These Orbitig devices ensure that each of these (2 passes x 1925 = 3850) welds are executed with exactly the same parameters. This ensures the welding quality of each pipe to pipe-plate joint, which significantly extends the life of heat exchangers.
