“AI is helping us combine multiple parts of the care journey, across all care experiences. In the future, benefits navigation, clinical guidance, and care delivery won’t be delivered by separate companies or point solutions within the healthcare ecosystem. They’ll be features that work in concert within products, and they’ll happen in under 90 seconds for a seamless patient experience.” Our CEO Glen Tullman comments on how #AI will impact healthcare in the H1 2024 #digitalhealth funding report from Rock Health. https://lnkd.in/gQw6Xqzq

Our afternoon was rounded out with panels focused on #venturecapital in #healthcare, the impact of digital innovation on #healthoutcomes and #telehealth. 💰Much funding from venture capital was misplaced during the pandemic. The market is now wiser about how and where to invest, and claims of using will #AI no longer cause VC to flock. “If you build it, they won’t come. Just because you have tech doesn’t mean you will have impact.” (Alyssa Jaffee) 📈Start ups in healthcare have also shifted success criteria - it is less about getting a number of users on a platform, and more about the actual outcomes they can drive. Panelists advised tech companies to 1) focus on driving the best outcomes possible, 2) starting with the outcome you want to enable, 3) ensuring you have a solid #memberengagement strategy, 4) all while on a secure platform. 💻Telehealth panelists shared stories of expansion to cover new types of patients / service lines and the overall high satisfaction marks from participating clinicians. hims & hers proudly can boast a 97% primary clinician retention rate in a day and age of huge shortages. These companies are also embracing AI, using it to create #personalizedmedicine recommendations in #behavioralhealth, stratify risk for patients in real time for boots-on-the-ground community workers to know and even in a research study at Talkspace on a provider’s level of empathy and impact with a patient. #DHSummit Modern Healthcare [Post 6 of 7]
