Allow us to introduce you to Quests! Developed by the Charlotte Lab School, Quests are interdisciplinary, challenge-based opportunities for students in grades K-12 to research, collaborate on, and solve challenges right in their own communities. Previous Quests have included: 💎 Trash to Treasures: After learning about sustainability, supply and demand, and recycling, 1st graders created a pop-up to re-home items they no longer wanted. 📖 The Lab Voice: Students explored the world of creative writing and worked in partnership with local authors to write, publish, and sell a literary magazine. Rural superintendents and one of their school communities will partner with Transcend in a six-month cohort program to reimagine their school models together with a national group of innovative rural leaders. Dedicated cohort experiences for both superintendents and school communities include in-person convenings, virtual sessions, and coaching from a Transcend partner from January-May 2025. Bard Sequence, developed by Bard Early College, is an opportunity for high schools to provide 11th and 12th grade students with meaningful early college experiences before graduation without ANY financial risk.
