As we prepare for the launch of our book next month and approach our 10th anniversary next year, we’re looking ahead with more clarity and determination than ever before. We’re honored to announce that The Audacious Project, a collaborative funding initiative committed to catalyzing social impact on a grand scale housed at TED, has selected Transcend as part of its 2024 cohort.

With the Learn and Earn Internship model from Opportunity College, 11th and 12th graders complete paid internships up to 10 hours per week on-site at a local company while simultaneously taking an intern seminar course for school transcript credit. Students are able to... 👩💼 Gain valuable work experience 💼 Explore their career interests 🤝 Develop professional skills 👥 Build social capital From Marketing to Legal, Operations to Tech, Opportunity College provides comprehensive support for students as they explore their professional interests. We analyzed more than 100,000 responses to the Leaps Student Voice Survey and found that student perceptions of their learning experiences can serve as powerful predictors of more traditional outcomes such as attendance, GPA, math test results, and disciplinary incidents.
