The rule of 3’s… Three things that I know to be true, on this day, February 13 2024: 1. TaylorMade and Tiger are business partners in Pop Stroke, since November 2022. 2. Wes Edens and Rory are business partners in Drive Shack, for years now. 3. Topgolf is having an earnings call at 2pm PST. Three things I suspect are true, on this day: 1. Tiger is not a close friend of Greg Bartoli, owner of Pop Stroke, as was recently suggested in a timely article. 2. Tiger is a close friend of Rory’s, forever more, beginning during the summer of 2021. 3. The PIF, Taylormade, Tiger, and Rory, are planning to compete directly with Topgolf, effective immediately.
