As the IBTTA Maintenance, Engineering & Roadway Operations workshop wraps up in Fort Myers, FL, we're happy to have had the opportunity to sponsor and participate in the annual service event at the Fort Myers Community Cooperative. Together with our colleagues across the industry, we helped pack and deliver meals, set up a grocery store, and prepare food for delivery to local organizations or storage. It was another great workshop and another meaningful service project!

These areas will definitely benefit from this
It’s “Canopy Cutting” season for West Virginia Division of Highways. This initiative opens up the canopy in shady areas, increasing the efficacy of salting and plowing during the winter months. In some cases, we provide this service to make way for road paving equipment. For this work, we rely on our skilled equipment operators and equipment like our Jarraff by Prinoth Wheeled Side Trimmer.

Soil stabilization is the first step in responsible and sustainable use of taxpayers investment in infrastructure projects.
In the early 1990’s, we treated millions of square yards of soil at the Denver International Airport. At the time, the $2.7 Billion dollar airport was considered one of the largest public works projects on record. Our team partnered with the contractor and officials to make the right decisions on which materials worked best for the different soil types around the property, creating a runway to the project’s success. https://lnkd.in/g-uHkKQC

Awesome foundation to follow-up on on George Cuff's recent Governance Review - bravo RDC for doing this and sharing your model
Got to spend a couple of days last week Dr. Gordon McIntosh. Red Deer County recently approved our Red Deer County Governance Model, developed based on the models, writings and teachings of Dr. Gordon McIntosh. We are excited to have this new tool in our municipal toolbox and proud of this work. Red Deer County Governance Model https://lnkd.in/gy3xXASk

Through the Partnering to Conserve Sagebrush Rangelands collaboration, the Intermountain West Joint Venture and Bureau of Land Management are excited to share a new film series called "Grazing Management for the Future." These six films explore the utility of the Bureau of Land Management’s Outcome-Based Grazing Authorizations through the experiences of five ranching operations across Oregon, Wyoming, Montana, Colorado, and Nevada. Outcome-based grazing Authorizations are a tool that allows ranchers to collaborate with their local field staff to build management flexibilities—such as the timing and location of grazing—and cooperative monitoring into their grazing authorizations. This enables managers to actively adapt to changes in weather, moisture conditions, vegetation, or whatever else Mother Nature may throw at them. The first two films are now available with additional releases every two weeks. Learn more and view the films from this link: https://lnkd.in/gY6XRTMN
