This Memorial Day, I'm reflecting on on the choice between bravery and passivity. As proud first generation Nigerian-American and patriot in the TRUE sense of the word, I am immensely grateful for the service of those we honor today. When faced with the choice between bravery and passivity, they chose bravery. They prioritized country over their own safety. Most of us aren't brave enough to make that choice. As we honor them today - let's ask ourselves what choices between bravery and passivity we ARE brave enough to make? Are we brave enough to be upstanders when we witness injustice? Are we brave enough to advocate for those who go unheard? Are we brave enough to come to the defense of people or ideas that might be unpopular when we know it's the right thing to do? Are we brave enough to rock a boat that needs rocking? Are we brave enough to give some feathers the ruffling they deserve? To become fully self-actualized, there has to be something we're willing to risk for something that matters more than our comfort. Where can choosing bravery over passivity make a difference that matters more than your comfort in your sphere of influence? No matter how seemingly small or insignificant, the impact of choosing bravery is always relatively big when compared with the impact of choosing passivity. Most of us will never be the heroes will celebrate today, but that doesn't mean we have to be zeros either. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸 #MemorialDay #veterans #landofthefree #homeofthebrave #thankyouforyourservice #yourvoicematters #responsiblemarketing

🇺🇲 A Celebration of Bravery 🇺🇲 This weekend, we honor those who bravely fought for our country. Though once marked by widespread celebrations, this occasion now finds many of us reflecting on the freedoms we enjoy. It's about more than a backyard cookout or parade. Our nation's bravery has built a foundation of freedom, yet fear can prevent us from embracing the life we want. Not every battle is fought in the field. In life, bravery isn't the absence of fear; it's facing it head-on...taking leaps of faith, and standing strong in the face of adversity. Let's unite in keeping the spirit of bravery alive by supporting one another and honoring our veterans. Every small act of courage, every gesture of appreciation, contributes to a greater, more resilient community. ✅ Share a story where you or someone you know showed bravery – whether overcoming personal fears or forging new paths – to inspire others to be courageous today. 🔔🔔 Follow Me and Click On My Bell for post notifications 🔔🔔 #Bravery #Courage #entrepreneurship #equaljusticeunderlaw

Today marks the anniversary of September 11, 2001—a day of tragedy, heroism, and unity that forever shaped the course of history. It's a moment in time we’ll never forget. The images, the emotions, the loss, and the remarkable courage displayed by so many are forever etched in our hearts and minds. As we reflect on this day, we honor the lives lost and those who sacrificed everything to save others. We remember the first responders who ran toward danger, the strangers who became heroes, and the families whose lives were forever altered. This day serves as a reminder that even in the face of unthinkable tragedy, the human spirit can rise. It's a call to never take our freedoms for granted and to always strive for unity, compassion, and resilience. Let us not only remember the events of 9/11 but also carry forward the lessons of strength, empathy, and community. We owe it to those we lost to continue building a future rooted in these values. #NeverForget #911Anniversary #Unity #Resilience #StrengthInAdversity #September11 #neverforget
