EVERYTHING NOW NEEDS A BIGGER TABLE In today’s world, we witness the transformative power of technology and science. Once highly-guarded secrets are now being unveiled to the public eye, including scientific models once understood only by a select few known as scientists. With the advent of open-source information platforms, the internet, and new technologies, barriers are breaking down, revealing that knowledge once condemned as esoteric is accessible to all. In regions like Australia and Latin America, indigenous communities possess invaluable wisdom in natural resource management and combating climate change, surpassing the expertise of traditional academia. This trend is irreversible; local knowledge will rightfully take centre stage, exposing fabricated truths and heralding the ascendancy of ultimate truth. The principles of Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion are dismantling previously closed spaces, ushering in a new era of empowerment. The challenge lies in how the privileged will adapt to shifting power dynamics brought about by open access to knowledge and resources. Embracing a broader spectrum of voices and sharing resources equitably is essential for navigating this paradigm shift. Outdated economic theories must yield new realities, where production and consumption are no longer dictated by centuries-old doctrines. The G7 and other dominant powers must make room for emerging regional players, while both politics and science evolve to reflect the diverse perspectives within and outside their spheres of influence. In this new landscape, it is imperative to acknowledge that the order of things is multifaceted, multilingual, and coloured by diverse political and philosophical viewpoints. Amidst this complexity, only one constant endures: the truth, the path, and the essence of life (God) remain steadfast and unchanging.
