𝐇𝐀𝐏𝐏𝐘 𝐍𝐔𝐑𝐒𝐄𝐒 𝐖𝐄𝐄𝐊 to my fellow nurses! National Nurses Week is a time to celebrate and reflect on the profound impact nurses have on healthcare and in the lives of those they are for and work with. It's also a moment to consider the varied paths a nursing career can take. My own journey exemplifies this diversity, evolving from nursing into human resources, and ultimately to career coaching and business ownership. Each transition was anchored in my commitment to care and advocate for others. This week marks not just a celebration of nursing but also the versatility of the skills it instills. As a nurse, I learned to manage both emergencies and emotions, skills that proved invaluable as I transitioned into human resources, where the well-being and development of individuals were central. As an adjunct professor, I taught, inspired, and shared learnings with my students. Now, as a career coach and business owner, I leverage all these experiences to guide others through their professional journeys, emphasizing the importance of nurturing and supporting talent in all its forms. Nurses - are you feeling "DONE"? I have been reading so many social media posts from nurses in early, mid, and late career who are feeling completely done in their careers. Sadly, I am also seeing nursing students who are only just about to graduate feeling like they have made a massive mistake, and it breaks my soul to think there are so many of us who just don't know the way forward. We’ve all been there—caught up in the whirlwind of shifts, patient care, and endless to-do lists. It’s easy to forget that we need care and support to keep us engaged, happy, and well. Sometimes, it feels like there’s no space to just be, to ask questions, or to even admit that maybe, just maybe, we’re feeling a bit lost. That’s why I’ve created a space where we can do just that—talk, reflect, and grow together. It’s a place without judgment, where you can bring your whole self, whether you’re feeling on top of the world or whether you are feeling completely done. Imagine a place where you can: 🌱 Talk openly about the challenges you’re facing without feeling like you need to have it all together. 💡 Explore new ways to find balance, joy, and purpose in your nursing journey. 💬 Have a real conversation with someone who gets what you’re going through. I’m here to listen, support, and maybe even help you find that piece of yourself that’s been feeling a little forgotten. If this resonates with you, let’s chat. No pressure, no obligations—just a conversation between two people who care deeply about this incredible, challenging profession we’ve chosen. Take care of yourself, nurse. You deserve it. 💙 #NurseSupport #SafeSpace #NurseLife #SelfCare

#nursesweek2024 THANK YOU to all of the nurses who work so selflessly and with so much heart at the bedside. Because it’s hard. And unfair. Period. When I was in my last semester of my nursing diploma program, I wish my clinical instructors would’ve told me that there is FAR more opportunity in nursing than at the bedside. More so, I wish they had told me and my classmates: 👉🏼 You are NOT less of a nurse for choosing to step away from the bedside. 👉🏼 You will not “lose” your skills away from the bedside. 👉🏼 It is not normal for your nervous system to feel like it’s on fire at all times. 👉🏼 Do not let senior nurses tell you where to take your career. We are all called to different areas. 👉🏼 You deserve to LOVE your job. For anyone who recently graduated from nursing school, just know that if starting at the bedside sounds like hell to you, you’ve got options. What are you good at? What do you love doing? Where do you thrive? What do you want your life to look like?
