That’s a wrap! The inaugural Transport Ticketing North America event in the wonderful windy city of #Chicago has come to an end. Great content and engagement and a sense of excitement and opportunity for the future of transit and what else can be achieved here. From multimodal pilots to addressing the unbanked through mobility, the possibilities seem endless. The principal themes were: 1. The customer (rider) must be at the heart of everything – but ownership across operators, authorities and tech providers needs to be managed carefully 2. Effective transit is a transformation enabler for equity and inclusivity – empowering both physical and social mobility 3.
