#Thanksgiving, with its fond memories of family, friends, and shared Gumbo and Yams, is close to my heart. Yet, saying "Happy Thanksgiving" now sometimes stirs backlash among my peers. 🦃 Thanksgiving: A Time to Reflect on Unity, Gratitude, and Our Employees 🙏 As we come together with family and friends to celebrate Thanksgiving, it's impossible to ignore the deep divisions that seem to permeate our nation today. We find ourselves in a time that, in some ways, mirrors the challenges of the 19th century. However, it's during moments like these that the true spirit of Thanksgiving becomes all the more relevant. Thanksgiving, rooted in the story of the Pilgrims and the Native Americans, was originally a symbol of unity. It was a moment when different cultures and backgrounds came together in a spirit of mutual respect and shared gratitude for the harvest. In 1863, President Abraham Lincoln officially proclaimed Thanksgiving as a national holiday during a time of civil strife, recognizing the need for our nation to find common ground. Anything more exciting or to be proud of than growth? 🙏🏼Personal growth 📈Business growth Sometimes growth happens but you're not even aware. We need to stop and reflect on the journey. Take my Thanksgiving Cactus... I received it as a gift from friends that visited c 2 years ago. 1️⃣In year 1 it had the flowers it came with which quickly died. 2️⃣In year 2 there was no growth and no flowers. 3️⃣Earlier this year I repotted with cactus soil and a slightly bigger pot and gave it cactus food regularly. 🔆This morning I was like a kid on Christmas Day... buds of dozens of flowers 💐 have appeared 😍 Small things make me happy and grateful these days. If you do anything before the year finishes, then stop and reflect and be proud of your achievements and how far you've come. You may not have achieved the big long term goal but you'll have made big strides forward. #business #businesscoaching

Are you ready for Thanksgiving? It can feel like there's a list of things to do and a lot of pressure to get everything perfect. Here's some simple tips for making this Thanksgiving an intentional one: #thanksgiving

As I celebrate my first thanksgiving as an American citizen and think about this holiday, the first thing that comes to mind is success. People have different ways to measure success, usually involving money and possessions. I evaluate success using different criteria, specifically, progress/growth and happiness. The first one comes from failure. Embracing failure as an opportunity for growth shows resilience and determination. However, overcoming failure alone sometimes can seem impossible. We need people by our side that can mentor and push us to get through those hard times. The support and relationships we develop along the way play a vital role in our success. They provide guidance, encouragement, and a sense of belonging that can help us navigate challenges more effectively. We also need people that will push us down and criticize everything we do, we use those people as motivators. Success can also be evaluated by our overall level of happiness and well-being. Once again for me it seems hard to cherish those moments alone. The people that surround us, our family, friends, coworkers, mentors, clients, teachers and coaches always play a huge part in who we are. So today I just want to say THANK YOU. Because of you I am able to harvest and feast from what I once planted. Happy Thanksgiving 🍁🦃
