As we bid farewell to Lilou Collomb-Clerc today, we took a moment to reflect on her journey over the past 3 months as a design and marketing intern at TravelTail. Here's what she had to say about her experience! 1. Why did you decide to join TravelTail? As a pet owner and traveler myself, I was drawn to the company's mission of making travel more accessible and enjoyable for pet owners, and I saw an opportunity to contribute my skills to a meaningful cause. 2. What was your role with TravelTail? As an intern in communication at TravelTail, my responsibilities included partaking in the creation of social media content using my graphic design skills and my knowledge of social media. 3. What were your expectations and did they become reality? My expectations were to gain hands-on experience in graphic design and content management within a dynamic startup environment. I also wished to contribute to a growing company while developing my skills and learning new ones. These expectations were exceeded during my time at TravelTail, indeed I had the opportunity to work on diverse meaningful, and collaborative projects contributing to the growth of the company. 4. What was the most valuable thing you brought out of your internship? The most valuable takeaway from my internship at TravelTail was the combination of practical skills and industry knowledge. I developed a deeper understanding of marketing principles, content creation strategies, and the challenges of adapting to a fast-paced environment. Moreover, I gained insight into the inner workings of a startup, including the dynamics and opportunities it presents. 5. What would you recommend to someone who wants to join a startup team as an intern? I would recommend embracing this unique and instructive opportunity. Be prepared to wear multiple hats, take on new responsibilities, and be ready to face challenges. Show initiative, creativity, and a willingness to learn. Additionally, build strong relationships with your colleagues, as collaboration and teamwork are essential in a startup. 6. What would you wish TravelTail for the future? I wish TravelTail continued success and growth in its endeavors to revolutionize pet-friendly travel. I hope they will continue to inspire pet owners around the world to explore new destinations with their beloved companions, fostering unforgettable travel experiences for years to come! The TravelTail team thanks you for your dedication and hard work, Lilou; we look forward to witnessing your bright future! Remember, you will always be part of the TravelTail tribe.
