Great article in The Globe and Mail this morning on TD Bank TD and money laundering. Two KEY factors are "excessive bureaucracy" and what seems to me to be leaderships failure to effectively manage their culture (and accept that there is erosion if its not managed by leaders). For 20 years I have been bleating on about the importance corporate culture. My latest book "The Workplace Battlefield" specifically identifies these two issues as part of the 6 most important things to watch for. PLEASE start managing culture as a critical strategic asset.
