This is the first bottle of Cocaine-infused Coca-Cola, sold in 1894. At the time, it contained an estimated amount of between 5 and 9 milligrams of cocaine per glass.
For comparison, a typical dose or 'line' of cocaine nowadays is 50 to 75 mg. It is important to clarify that Coca-Cola was not bottled before 1894, as the drink was invented in 1886 by John Stith Pemberton and was originally only sold in soda sources.
Commercial bottling of Coca-Cola did not begin until 1899. In 1903, coke leaves containing cocaine were removed from the formula and replaced with decocaine leaves, although the complete removal of cocaine from the formula was not achieved until 1929, when the process of removing any traces of this alkaloid was perfected.
