• Can you share a fun fact that your colleagues might not know about you? I have up to 9 dogs from the local rescue at my house every day to get them out of their kennels, and I take care of my two granddaughters' and my Grandma who is 101 1/2. • What’s your favorite memory from your time working at RMX? I think my favorite memories were during Christmas, especially when we did the white elephant game. • What's your go-to karaoke song? I don’t do karaoke, but I sing a lot of what I say; I can turn almost any conversation into an 80’s song. • What’s your favorite holiday and why? Christmas, everyone becomes nice for at least two weeks. • How has the industry changed during your time at RMX? We've transitioned away from paper, making the billing process more efficient, road safety has improved, and advancements in technology now help us better track our trucks.

Showed up ready to work and Daniel Priestley wasn’t. When I arrived I had all mics tested, tripod ready, lens on, a clean SD card, and was of course caffeinated. But instead of hopping right into filming short form content - Daniel goes “shall we have a proper chat before we start?” Guys like Daniel stay ready so they don’t have to get ready. He was in no rush. Instead, he wanted to catch up on my business, my life, and any struggles he could help me work through. That’s so unnecessary but completely consistent with the types of people I work with: Arjun A Dhingra is incredibly encouraging and positive. Brian Hastings is committed, optimistic, always finding ways to help our team out. Mita Mallick since day one has outwardly shown gratitude with voice notes and praise for the team. Chris Do always and I means ALWAYS pours into me. More importantly, he’s really pushed me to make sure I work with the right people. These people and others pay us to help them, but never treat things transactionally. They’re kind, altruistic, and value relationships. The reason I’m telling you this is because sometimes we feel like we don’t have a choice when it comes to the people we work for or with. But we do. And the more we focus on it, the more realize they’re out there. Happy Sunday!
