Spine Surgeons: When instrumenting in the posterior cervical spine. If bone quality is acceptable and pedicle size allows, how often are you placing pedicle screws between C2-C7? In your opinion, what would be the benefits of placing pedicle screws? There are studies out of Asia providing compelling evidence for pedicle screws higher than C6. Has the use of navigation had an impact on your decision? Would love to learn from our surgeon participants here on LinkedIn. #spinesurgery #medicaldevices #spinesurgeon Alan H. Hey connection ,I am happy to share about "Arthroplasty" The definition of arthroplasty is surgical joint replacement. During the procedure, your healthcare provider removes a damaged joint and replaces it with an artificial joint. The artificial joint (prosthesis) can be metal, ceramic or heavy-duty plastic. The new joint looks like the natural joint and moves in a similar way. Surgeons can replace joints in any part of your body, but the most common types of arthroplasty are hip replacement and knee replacement. Most people who get this procedure need a total joint replacement. A small number of people are good candidates for a partial joint replacement. This procedure only replaces the part of the joint that’s damaged. Recovery time for arthroplasty varies. It depends on your age and lifestyle, the type of procedure and the joint you have replaced. #snsdesignthinkers #snsinstitutions #snsdesignthinking

Stainless Steel Tissue Forceps A tissue forceps with 1x2 teeth refers to a delicate surgical instrument designed for grasping and manipulating delicate tissues during medical procedures. The term "1x2 teeth" indicates that the forceps has two delicate, interlocking teeth on one side and a single tooth on the other side. Surgeons commonly use these forceps in procedures requiring careful handling of tissues, such as in ophthalmic or microsurgical applications. #medical #surgical #surgicalinstruments #medicalequipmentsupplier #ophthalmic #ophthalmology

Extremely distal clavicle fractures can present a challenge to many surgeons. Globus offers various implant options in the ANTHEM™ portfolio that can be utilized for this fracture type. Dr. Asif Ilyas of Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA, recently treated a patient with our ANTHEM™ Clavicle Fracture System. The patient was experiencing pain and deformity at the acromioclavicular (AC) joint due to a displaced distal clavicle fracture with shortening and bayoneting. Dr. Ilyas exposed the fracture through a superior approach, identifying the AC joint first and then reducing the fracture. Due to the clavicle fracture's very distal nature, two options were considered—either the ANTHEM™ Clavicle Fracture System’s Superior Lateral Plate or the system’s Hook Plate. Dr. Ilyas opted to use our Hook Plate to target the distal nature of the fracture without having to rely on distal fixation. Dr. Ilyas was very pleased with the ANTHEM™ system, commenting that the Hook Plate “offered excellent fixation by the counter-force provided by the acromion and screw fixation proximally.” We thank Dr. Ilyas for sharing this case and presenting a treatment option for an extremely distal clavicle fracture. What is the most advanced hair transplant technique? The Percutaneous! Percutaneous Technique is renowned for its ability to implant a significant number of follicles in a single session. This approach involves using fine needles to create small openings in the recipient area. Advantages of the Percutaneous Technique include: High Density: The technique allows for dense packing of follicles, making it suitable for patients requiring extensive coverage. Faster Procedure: The percutaneous approach can reduce the overall procedure time, which is beneficial for both patients and surgeons. Customization: Surgeons can customize the angle, depth, and direction of implanted follicles, achieving personalized results. #besthairtransplanttechnique #latesthairtransplanttechnique #newtechnology #hairtransformation #thisisyourtime #haartransplantation #greffedecheveux #hairtransplant

Time and again, BAHAs are explanted and replaced with BONEBRIDGE. Once the decision to explant BAHA and implant BCI 602 has been made, the next question is “how.” Recently, a group of leading ENT surgeons established guidelines for the explantation of BAHA followed by implantation of BCI 602.
