Research paper In our brains, different neurons make appropriate connections; however, there remain few in vitro models of such circuits. We use an open microfluidic approach to build and study neuronal circuits in vitro in ways that fit easily into existing bio-medical workflows. It has been a while since we published an incredible paper titled "Automated analysis of human cardiomyocyte dynamics with holographic image-based tracking for cardiotoxicity screening " in Biosensors and Bioelectronics journal with IF 12.6. I wanted to share this update with you. This paper proposes a new non-invasive, low-cost, and fully automated platform to quantitatively analyze dynamics of human-induced pluripotent stem cell-derived cardiomyocytes (hiPS-CMs) at the single-cell level by holographic image-based tracking for cardiotoxicity screening.

𝗜𝘁 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟯, 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵, 𝟵 𝗼𝗳 𝗺𝘆 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗰𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝘄𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗻 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗼𝗳 #𝗝𝗚𝗘𝗘𝗕𝗜𝗟𝗦, #𝗜𝗜𝗧-𝗝𝗔𝗠 & #𝗖𝗦𝗜𝗥𝗡𝗘𝗧, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗻𝗼 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝗜𝗜𝗦𝗰 𝗼𝗿 𝗜𝗜𝗦𝗘𝗥𝘀, 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗰𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗵𝗮.... 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻: They lacked #ZERO research exposure and didn’t know how to #tackle cell lines, how to study #FACS graphs, or how drosophila #mutants are assayed. So, Deepa Mandloi and I thought to change it at that time. It took a lot of #effort and a lot of #time to get to this point, but we did. After meeting our mentor Sukhvinder Singh Nayyar sir, our efforts came to the #realisation, and he guided us in #best ways possible, the support and teaching he provided are #priceless.
