Happy to share another milestone in my corporate journey as I passed Online Proficiency test for #IndependentDirectors conducted by IICA. This whole journey from membership to Learning Modules to finally pass the test made me aware of multiple topics like Companies Law, Securities Law, Corporate Governance, Accountancy principle, etc. which are relevant for the functioning of Board and likewise very crucial for any Director to have hands-on. It is noteworthy to mention that the Learning Modules presented by Independent Director Platform guides us through significant sections of the Company's Act 2013 and other relevant regulations. There are case studies to ponder on and see through how poor Governance and lack of due Diligence are the reasons behind the fall of successful enterprises. This awareness made me confident enough to lead not only the ID position but also other significant KMP positions with necessary caution and conscience as I go on..! I am fortunate on the current job since 2017 to have hands-on on some of those topics closely and got to learn. But yes, as always, there are many points to improve on, certainly some more to learn new, as this always remains a learning-re-learning stride for me! This is a great initiative from MCA along with IICA and I urge that those aspiring should take the benefit of their knowledge bank. #independentdirector #MCA #IICA #corporategovernance
