Attending #AVEVAWorld 2024 has been an enlightening experience, particularly regarding IT/OT Convergence. Here are my key takeaways from Day 2. Focus on People First:  The most powerful insight I gained is the importance of prioritizing people over processes and technology. While technology is essential, it's the people who drive change and innovation within organizations. Engaging and empowering the workforce is crucial for successful ITO/T Convergence #ITOTConvergence. Expert Insights:  It's fascinating how expert advice often aligns with our intuitive understanding. They articulate challenges we may struggle to define technically and share insights we've reflected on but struggled to communicate properly due to our unfamiliarity with industry terminology. How I wish some of my customers were here. I guess will have to take the message and insights back to the AVEVA customers I serve in my region.

Digital Twins. To understand how leading companies are integrating digital twin technology into their digital transformation programs, Capgemini surveyed 1,000 organisations, spread across the world and across industries, including; life sciences, consumer products, energy & utilities, discrete manufacturing and infrastructure owners/operators.
