We're pleased to share some behind-the-scenes photos of the Treveth team onsite at St Anthony Gardens, Penzance. The project is well underway and we remain on track to complete the improvements by mid-to-late Spring 2025. Here’s a reminder of the improvements Treveth is making: 👍 Retaining most of the original walls and relocating the iconic archway to a more accessible location. ✅ Introducing British Standard-compliant pathways to ensure the gardens are accessible to all. 🌊 Enhancing seating areas for everyone to enjoy the breathtaking views across both bays. 👥Creating event lawns and spaces for wellbeing and local activities. 🎳 Adding two recreational boules courts. 🌷 Revitalising planting to create a greener, more vibrant space. ⛲ Reinstating the existing fountain so it’s fully operational once again. This project is funded by the Future High Streets Fund as part of the Government’s Towns Fund initiative. Once work on the gardens is complete, we’ll shift focus to the next phase — transforming the former Taylor’s Garage site at Coinagehall Street into a mixed-use development for the community. Keep following our channels as we continue to share more updates... #InCornwallForCornwall #YnKernowRagKernow #ProfitWithPurpose #CommunityProject
Great to see this scheme moving forward, with the help of future high street funding we are regenerating St Anthony's gardens and in doing so it will become fully accessible for the Penzance community and the many visitors that are attracted to this fantastic promenade location. Once we complete the apartment development adjacent to the park it will also provide the perfect outdoor amenity space for our residents. Well done to the Treveth team and our consultants and contractors for getting this underway in the very challenging economic environment we all find ourselves in. #peopleandplace #communityspaces
CORMAC are delighted to be working with Treveth on the project, and to be helping Penzance to drive growth, improve experience and ensure future sustainability
