Calling all law students!
The Black Lives Matter Student Prize is an annual award that recognises the outstanding contributions of our undergraduate law students in advancing the cause of anti-racism. Are you, or someone you know, making strides in anti-racist work, whether in the university or on a global stage? Nominations are open now!
🏆 Prize Details:
• Open to all UG students in the School of Law.
• Students may nominate themselves, or be nominated by another student, or a member of academic or professional services staff.
• Two students will each win a £300 prize, along with a mention on their transcript.
💡 How to Enter:
• Submit a 300-word statement showcasing how the nominee has demonstrated a commitment to anti-racist activities or initiatives. Evidence may include, but is not limited to, events they have organised, blogs or other written work they have produced, art-work they have created etc.
• Send nominations to tanzil.chowdhury@qmul.ac.uk before the deadline, March 29, 2024.
• Applications will be considered by the Department of Law’s Anti-Racist Working Group and a member of the UK Black Lives Matter steering committee. Winners are announced by end of April 2024.
