https://lnkd.in/g232PwNA “All those whose names became historically indelible for and from their work for the good of humanity were laughed at, sabotaged by some of those they thought were with them, made costly sacrifices, bore some most difficult pains, threatened, violently attacked and even killed by the oppressors of humanity for raising their voices, and paid prices for their choices and the responsibilities bestowed upon them by their callings. It is for these reasons I am using this video message to deeply and sincerely appreciate all those who regardless of the pariah state Nigeria has become still courageously identify with me and my sincere vision, and the resultant call to action encapsulated in the Open Nigeria ideology that I most frankly , strongly and passionately believe is the only way forward to putting Nigeria on the pathway to a genuine nationhood and greatness even though a few driven by fear, mischief and ambivalence think my approach is offensive especially to the savage, insensitive and inhumane few sacred gods whose atrocious disposition on leadership has caused our country and people an unquantifiable tragic human, material and economic loss over a long period of time simply because they believe, though erroneously that Nigeria belongs to them and as such, can destroy it unchallenged. I am not a politician who tells people the lies they want to hear in order to secure their votes but a revolutionary driven by the truth whose mission is to inspire them to a light that they can deploy to set themselves free from their oppressors including the mostly corrupt and morally bankrupt politicians who align with some rogue high profile traditional rulers, hypocritical religious leaders and the mostly white collar criminals and explorers driving the fraudulent organized private sector who became billionaires and the richest men in Africa via devious insider trading schemes and round tripping that have now made their own country’s economy comatose. I love you true patriots of Nigeria and soldiers of social justice who openly and courageously identify with me, my message and the ideology of Open Nigeria and I invite all of you sitting on the fence to come down and stand up for Nigeria in your numbers because that’s what our oppressors don’t want to see as it sends a strong message to them about the imminence of their reign of oppression. I have lost a lot of friends, pretenders, exploiters and fear mongers because of my position and I am going to lose some more including some who share blood ties with me, to underscore the seriousness of this mission until the people of Nigeria are fully sensitized to take their country back”. ….Smart Madu Ajaja, Convener, Open Nigeria And Africa Unite

We talk about this today and we condemned what they did to us. But are we saying about what the #Chinese are doing to us today. What the #Chinese are doing to us today, is it any different from what happened to us many years ago, perpetrated by the West. This time round we are doing it voluntarily and not giving to the West, but to the Chinese and I heard Russians are also trooping in, but their presence is not being felt yet. And you ask yourself what is wrong with us #Africans. Can we not stop the stealing and develop this nation ourselves? The support that the #Chinese are getting from their country, just give quarter of that support to your indigenous business owners and see how they can turn your country around. This is what is happening now. A Chinese comes to town, and you might have already negotiated for your land from the original owners and started your business. Chinese comes to establish his or her business near you, then he thinks he has entitlement more than you. The business you are doing as an indigenous citizen, he or she starts doing the same business. After sometime, the Chinese would rather want you out of the area, so that they the #Chinese can control the entire area and the business. They then team up with the indigenous that you negotiated the land from, and because they are all controlled by the same spirits, they work to kick you out. And one wonder if one is dreaming or fully awake. This is happening in your own Africa country and not their f****ck country #China. They want to dominate, They want to control everybody and everything, and our leaders are just letting them in and saying YES YES to everything they want because they go with cup in hand begging them for little monies they can generate in their own country if they could be a little prudent. How did #China make it? How did #Dubai become what it is today? Did they develop buy selling everything to foreigners? The selling off our dignity, our pride to others for peanut #MustStopNow. All these are happening because their government is always giving money to your government as loan. For these monies #AfricaGovernment take from the #ChineseGovernment instead of protecting their indigenous businesses and the citizens, they rather sell them out to these #Chinese on silver platter. And if #Chinese want something, they just want it irrespective of who is occupying the space. They play this game with the full backing from their government. They employ all kinds unorthodox means and tactics to get rid of you which includes torture, manipulations, etc. #Africa when will you learn to be independent and depend on your rich #AfricaMinerals that God has endowed you with? God gave #Africans these minerals free without asking for a dim. No one can change #Africa except the #Africans themselves. So if an #African has a dream, support that dream to mature as an #AfricanGovernment. #WakeUpAfrica #StopThePullHerDown #WakeUpAfricaNations #WakeUpAfricaGovernment
📍This happened in Kenya 🇰🇪, not too long ago. The Mau Mau Uprising stands as a crucial chapter in Kenya's history, stemming from oppressive British colonial policies that inflicted land expropriation, displacement, and egregious human rights violations upon the Kikuyu people. Spanning from 1895 to 1963, British colonialism in Kenya perpetuated the confiscation of ancestral lands from the indigenous Kikuyu population, subjecting them to forced labor, displacement, rap£ and impoverishment. Emerging in the 1950s, the Mau Mau movement symbolized a resistance against British colonial dominance, led by the revered Dedan Kimathi, a Field Marshal and spiritual guide, with aspirations for land reform, self-governance, and autonomy. Labeling the Mau Mau movement as a terrorist entity, the British authorities resorted to establishing concentration camps from 1953 to 1959, detaining a staggering 700,000-1,000,000 Kikuyu individuals, where widespread torture, forced labor, and extrajudicial killings were rampant. The atrocities committed during this period were harrowing, encompassing systematic torture, including heinous acts like castration and rape, alongside forced displacements, family separations, summary executions, and disappearances. Eventually, Mau Mau fighters were rightfully acknowledged as heroes in Kenya's fight for independence, with Dedan Kimathi embodying a national emblem of resilience and liberation, culminating in Kenya's independence. #history #black #blackhistory #kenya #africa #blackhistorymonth

However, these narratives obscured the reality: colonization primarily served European economic and political interests, leading to exploitation, cultural erasure, and long-term harm across the continent. The idea of "saving" was used as a moral cover for actions that deeply disrupted African societies and economies, and whose impacts are still felt today.

Media silence around Christian Persecution was the topic of my final year capstone research project. 1 in every 7 Christians, over 365 million people face severe levels of persecution for their faith in Christ. The top 50 countries where these persecuted Christian live are in the Global South. The majority of believers today are found in Sub Saharan Africa, Asia, and the Americas. In Nigeria, Christian persecution has reached genocidal levels. The Iranian Church is the fastest growing evangelical movement in the world! Yet despite reports of genocide, despite contemporary reality, the media still turns a blind eye on the suffering of hundreds of millions of black and brown Christians. The media still propagates the narrative that Christianity is a religion of whiteness, privilege and dominance. This narrative further perpetuates the notion that Christians are less vulnerable to persecution than those from other religions. The reality is that Christians are now the most persecuted religious group in the world and more awareness needs to be raised to help those Christians suffering in silence. One way you can combat this narrative is by supporting and sharing the work that Open Doors International does to advocate for persecuted Christians. Sign the Arise Africa petition to join in the fight for protection, justice, restoration and freedom of belief! 🔗 https://lnkd.in/ehsw3j-h #ChristianPersecution #freedomofbelief #peacebuilding #advocacy #persecution #change #petition
Pastor Soré, his family and vulnerable people he cares for have fled their homes in Burkina Faso because of violent persecution. 16.2 million Christians are displaced by violence and conflict in sub-Saharan Africa. Nobody is talking about it. Today, will you join with the African church and sign the Arise Africa petition – calling for protection, justice and restoration? Sign the petition. Share a prayer. Give your support. Here's how: https://bit.ly/4deUjHf
