An eye-opening stat just hit my radar: Time-to-market for connected devices has skyrocketed by 80% in just 4 years! Is it surprising? Not entirely... Here's why: - Security Savvy? Great! Solutions? Not so much. While Customers are rightfully security-conscious, truly effective off-the-shelf solutions for managing device lifecycles and vulnerabilities haven't quite hit the mainstream yet. - Regulation Roadblocks: New regulations often require additional services, adding complexity and delaying product launches. - Supply Chain Slowdown: Global disruptions and trust issues are extending manufacturing and testing phases. So, what can we do? The answer lies in: - Focus on Core Expertise: Delegate generic services (security, connectivity) to specialists and leverage verified standards like LwM2M for faster integration. 🎯 - Building a collaborative ecosystem where best practices and pre-built security features are readily available. 🤝 - Streamlining compliance processes to make integrating regulatory requirements smoother. ✅ By tackling these challenges head-on, we can get our awesome new connected products to market faster and create a more secure, reliable future for the #IoT!
