If You Have Not Heard About The Story Of The Paper Cup And Silver Cup, Then Read… A notable speaker was invited as chief guest for an event. He was provided a chair on the dais and was served tea in a silver cup. While all others in the audience were served the same tea in paper cups. The same person was invited the next year for a similar event but this time he was only one among the many sitting in the audience. The chief guest was someone else. This time he was holding a paper cup in hand. This is when he realized that even though the tea served is same, the cup will change as soon as his seat changes. Eventually, we all deserve to hold only paper cups. All silver cups have to be returned after the show is over. What you can take home are just 2 things: 1. The Knowledge and experience that you have gained by being at the event 2. The good memories of the time you spent with the people around you If you have not gained any of the above, you are going home empty handed because silver cups have to be returned for someone else to hold it the next time.
