📷🌨️ Capturing the Perfect Shot: A Lesson in Patience and Persistence When heavy snowfall blankets the landscape in early spring, photographers know they have a fleeting window to capture magical moments before the snow melts. This image of a bison in the snowy Rocky Mountain Arsenal is a testament to the power of patience, experience, continuous effort, and a bit of luck. 🚗 Upon arriving at the scene, I was one of several photographers parked along the road, hoping to photograph the bison in the snow. As the bison moved across the road and into the woods, most of the other photographers left, feeling the scene wouldn't make for a good shot. But I waited. 🤔 I surveyed the surroundings, considering what elements could come together to create a stunning composition. Repositioning my car strategically, I prepared for the possibility of the bison crossing the road again, equipped with a variety of lenses to adapt to any situation. 📸 And then, it happened. I took about 150 pictures, embracing the failures as stepping stones to success.
