2moWe planned our dream trip to Bali months in advance, booking our flights from Jaipur via Malaysia through Trip.com. However, just 3 days before our departure, Trip.com changed our flight dates without informing us. When we reached out, we were told that nothing could be done and that all our tickets, including the return flight, would be cancelled and refunded. This last-minute disaster forced us to rebook our flights at a significantly higher cost. We had meticulously planned our trip, including pre-booking hotels, and this unexpected change not only caused financial strain but also immense stress. Trip.com’s failure to communicate and lack of accountability has been deeply disappointing and unacceptable. I urge fellow travelers to think twice before using Trip.com.
