Chinese travelers continued to show high demand for overseas travel throughout 2023, thanks to the easing of supply-side constraints. Many countries also implemented visa-free policies targeting Chinese travelers, further fueling their popularity. As a result, Trip.com Group's outbound air-ticket and hotel bookings recovered to over 80% of pre-pandemic levels, surpassing the market's overall recovery rate. Thailand, Japan, Korea, Singapore, and Malaysia remained the top outbound destinations. ✈️🌴
For the full year of 2023, Trip.com Group’s net revenue was US$2.4 billion, representing 122% growth from the prior year and a 25% increase from 2019. Accommodation reservation revenue for the full year of 2023 was US$2.4 billion, an increase of 133% from 2022 and an increase of 28% increase from 2019. 💰💯📈
