I can't help but think we are observing one of the largest pushes for innovation in the workplace we have ever seen. More than half of large organizations tell CNBC they plan to purchase gen AI software like Microsoft Copilot within the next six months. (Read more below) I'm not talking about remote work tools. I think this new wave of AI solutions will fundamentally change the way we work. #aitransformation #copilot #msftadvocate #modernwork #ai #aiwave #generativeai #jobmarket #usjobmarket #innovation Big props to leaders like Jared Spataro for leading the way! https://lnkd.in/gJWdQzhS

Wonder how well folks are adapting to new AI tools such as copilot in there day-to-day functions? Are these tools enabling users to save a significant amount of time in various tasks? Does it allow users to be more impactful in their work? I’m sure the obvious answer is “yes”. The better question is by how much? How is success of copilot measured and where are the most effective use cases coming from. 2024 money will be spent, but more importantly we’ll learn more about how this technology is going to change business.

What's interesting is in the article Gartner says the end of the road for enterprise AI deployment is in the ERP, CRM, supply chain, financial and legal systems. I'm not sure I'd agree with that! We have good evidence that AI in business applications provides significant business value. That's because the use cases are super well defined and are baked into existing process flows already. To me, it seems to make more sense for AI transformation in business applications to be thought as a parallel process instead of a sequential one.

Wonder how many of those organizations have actual concrete plans for those AI purchases and how many are just "kicking the tires" because it's the hot new tech.

Agree with you Trisha that copiliots will play a big role in the future of work. The interest is high but what remains to be seen is how well enterprises (and specifically the people doing the work) will adopt copilot-enhanced ways of working.
