Strategic Business Development | Technology Alliances | Regional Channel Sales Expert | Servant Leadership | Comprehensive Business Network | Certified NLP Practitioner
The Power Of Purpose Three systems engineers were working extremely hard and quickly in a lab. One was squatting, one was standing, and one was half-standing. The first engineer said, "I'm a system engineer," in response to Thoray's question, "What are you doing?" To support my sales team and provide for my family, I'm putting much effort into churning out the bill of materials for the solution. The second engineer responded, "I'm a network architect." I'm developing a client-focused solution. With a sparkle in his eye, the third engineer—the most productive of the three and the group's future leader—replied, "I'm a next-generation solution builder," responding to the query, "What are you doing?" I'm creating a brighter future with infinite connectivity, security, and possibilities. Do you know your purpose at work? (PS: XW, thanks for everything. Looks like our new Lab at KA Center is up and running) #leadershipdevelopment #purposedriven #powerofpurpose

Most global engineers still are NOT using AI day to day. Only 4% (!) of engineers want to work in an office full-time. Over 42% of developers have experienced layoffs at their company in the past year. I'm stunned by these numbers. And that's just the start! Over 1200+ global engineers responded to our 2024 State of Remote Engineering survey, and the data paints a vivid picture of how global engineers think about their work today. It's a MUST for CTOs, engineering leaders, Talent leaders, etc. Special thanks to the team at Terminal behind these huge insights: Derek R. Wilson, John LaPerch, Kira Sparks, Gabi Anger, Carlos Jaramillo and Wes Mitchell-Lewis for making this happen! Link here:

Experienced Systems Engineer & Technical Manager | Architect of Wireless Communication Solutions for Unmanned Systems | R&D Leader
If you've ever thought about pulling off a casino heist and you're a System Engineer, you probably possess the right qualities to execute it flawlessly without getting caught. Here's how to do it right: I'm, of course, joking and not encouraging any System Engineer (or anyone else) to engage in such activities, but there are some intriguing parallels between System Engineers and the intricate planning scene from that iconic movie: Team Collaboration: Just like in the movie, System Engineers assemble a diverse team of experts, each with their unique skills and expertise. Detailed Planning: System Engineers meticulously map out every detail of the system, from security protocols to seamless data flows. Integration and Coordination: We emphasize the importance of ensuring that various components of a system work together harmoniously, just like the heist team. Risk Assessment: System Engineers, similar to the heist crew, conduct thorough risk assessments to anticipate potential challenges and vulnerabilities. Problem Solving: In both scenarios, problem-solving skills are paramount. System Engineers excel at identifying potential issues and crafting innovative solutions. Attention to Detail: Attention to detail is the linchpin of success. Overlooking even the smallest detail can lead to system failures or inefficiencies. This iconic movie scene shares features highly relevant to System Engineers. I draw inspiration from this cinematic reference as I strive to demystify and illuminate the role of System Engineers, especially for the younger generation navigating the high-tech world. Good luck! 😉 #systemsengineering #systemsengineer #systemsthinking
