Some years ago, I was just another guest at a birthday party in a venue called Oche, a competitive socialising hotspot in Oslo. We ate, we drank, we laughed, and we engaged in a friendly, but of course a competitive game of modern darts. At that time I was operating high-end hotels in the Nordics, and little did I know that this venue was part of a rapidly emerging global trend. And even less did I foresee that I would, a few short years later, be leading an important player in this space, The Social Gaming Group. Competitive socialising - the fusion of high-quality food, expertly crafted cocktails, and engaging activities like digital darts and shuffleboard - is reshaping the hospitality industry. Since that night at Oche, our chain has grown from one venue in Norway to a global presence spanning eight venues across three continents. And we're just getting started.
