Security dilemmas are a really growing field of concern everywhere. Our focus is - quite obviously and naturally - captured by the "Three Big": the disturbing events around Ukraine, the Middle-East and the Taiwan straits. But we must not forget the role West Balkans played, more than one time in recent history, in the development of dangerous crises. Thus, efforts towards strengthening stability in this neighbouring region is money, time and affection well invested. I am looking forward with thrill (and I hope: inventive ideas) to participate at the coming Budapest Balkans Forum, organized by the Hungarian Institute of International Affairs. My responsibility will be to design and implement some hands-on exercises for young participants. It never ceases to amaze me how angling creates global connections. We are holding a European trade show in September and while we are welcoming exhibitors and visitors from traditional tackle markets like China, Japan and the States, I never expected to be hosting an exhibitor from...
