Dynamic Duo at Work In today’s video, we witness the strength and coordination of two Caterpillar 365C excavators as they take on the task of loading overburden onto 4-axle Mercedes and MAN trucks. This impressive duo showcases both precision and power as they clear away heavy material, making way for the next phases of construction and mining operations. The Caterpillar 365C: Heavy-Duty Specs and Capabilities The Caterpillar 365C is a powerhouse in large-scale earthmoving projects. Here are some of the key specifications that make it ideal for handling tough overburden materials: Operating Weight: Approximately 70 tons Engine Power: 532 horsepower (Cat C15 engine) Bucket Capacity: Ranges up to 4.3 cubic meters, allowing it to move large amounts of material per scoop Maximum Digging Depth: Around 8.2 meters Reach: Up to 13.4 meters, making it highly effective for large, expansive work sites The power behind each 365C excavator means faster, more efficient loading, reducing the number of passes needed to fully load each 4-axle truck. The excavators’ large bucket capacities and impressive reach streamline the process, enabling continuous, high-output operation throughout the workday. Loading Overburden with Precision and Power In the video, we see both Caterpillar 365C excavators working in tandem, swiftly loading overburden onto the waiting Mercedes and MAN trucks. Each bucket of overburden is carefully deposited into the trucks, minimizing spillage and ensuring full loads that make the most of each truck’s capacity. This coordinated workflow between excavators and trucks highlights the importance of precision in large-scale excavation and loading tasks. With each pass, the 365C excavators demonstrate their control and power, delivering load after load without pausing, keeping up the pace of operations. Their deep digging capabilities and extended reach make it possible to clear large amounts of overburden quickly, allowing the trucks to transport material away from the excavation area efficiently. https://lnkd.in/dy6ENwSG #megamachineschannel #machinery #excavators #mininglife #trucks

Usually, we say "backhoe" for both. However, the front loader and the backhoe loader are two types of heavy machinery used in construction a public works, which, differ in their characteristics and uses. For example:Backhoe loaders are extremely versatile, combining the loading capabilities of a front loader with the digging capabilities of a backhoe. In other words, the backhoe loader is dedicated to tasks such as digging, loading, excavation, and transporting materials. On the other hand, the front loader is specifically used for the rapid loading and transport of materials. In short, the choice between a front loader and a backhoe loader depends on the specific needs of the site. Front loaders are ideal for large-scale and fast loading operations, while backhoe loaders offer unmatched versatility for a variety of construction and public works #achitekla #lourdyvanierenervil

While #Excavator tracks are meant for navigating uneven terrain, not for vertical movement, there are rare instances where a specially designed platform and a highly skilled operator might attempt a controlled "climb". This would involve a custom-built structure with notches or protrusions that the excavator could hook onto with its arm or bucket. Even then, it's a highly risky maneuver not attempted on real construction sites. Here's a breakdown of why a high proficiency is required for an excavator climb: 1. Stability: Excavators are most stable on flat ground. Climbing introduces a significant risk of tipping over, especially on an uneven platform. 2. Weight Distribution: The weight of an excavator is concentrated in the body and the tracks. Lifting the machine off the ground puts immense strain on the undercarriage and could cause component failure. 3. Limited Reach: The excavator's arm is designed for digging and manipulating objects, not for climbing. It wouldn't have the reach or the gripping power needed to securely ascend a platform. #Excavator #Equilog #Training #Construction #Oilandgas

Locked and loaded - By pairing a Bobcat loader with an excavator, you get double the productivity. One can dig while the other can backfill. Or they can load trucks at the same time – turning a half-day job into a two-hour job. #geterdone #trackloaderrental #excavatorrental #quitethepairing #construction #landscape

Ever struggle to get your large rental excavator started? ⚠️ 🤯 Well, here are some speedy tips 💨 to master starting most large earthmoving equipment. It’s common for operators to get stuck when interchanging 🔀 between different manufacturers of machines. Nevertheless, the issue is likely to be one of these… Security Codes 🧮 Most large excavators will have these to prevent unauthorised use of the equipment. Ensure you are punching in your security code correctly, or you could get locked out. ⛔ Seatbelt 🪢If you haven’t got it engaged, you’ll unlikely ever get started. Most large earthmovers will require this to be connected and alert 🚨 you if you haven’t. Arm Rest 💺 This is an easy one to miss. Just make sure it is in the upward position when trying to turn the equipment on. ✅ Engaging hydraulics 🕹️After getting the engine on, you might wonder why the hydraulics are working?? Some manufacturers require you to engage these machine components by confirming them on your keypad. 👇 This is one that catches many operators out. Operators, you might want to save this one for later 😜 #excavator #construction #excavatoroperator #constructiontips #howto #heavyequipment
