What happens when trucking companies fail to follow-up quickly with Drivers. I was having a conversation with a Driver who recently his a new job hauling auto parts I asked, how is it working out for you? He mentioned he likes it, the pay is good for him and he’s home every day etc He wanted to transport vehicles at another company instead of hauling the parts.. So I asked why didn’t you go apply for an opportunity to work there? I mean… He had all the qualifications, experience required, a clean record and a great attitude which is a plus. He said he apply and said they took too long to get back to me. His current company gave him an offer and he took it. I asked: How long did they take to get back to you? He said one week If you’re hiring and a Driver applies at your company, it’s important to communicate with them as quickly as possible. Within 24-48 hours. The earlier, the better. One week is too long to communicate get back to them when many fleets are hungry for Drivers 😀 If your Driver recruiting process is broken that your company is losing Drivers before they come onboard and you’re interested in an effective method to attract and recruit Drivers online DM me
