The 'new same' ~ The best time of the entire trip was on our way home the night-before- last with friends and dogs somewhere in Colorado next to a rushing stream(of course...it's Colorado)... ..Which cemented the answer; it's just too far and too hot for such a long journey for my music fest. It was different when it was a 3 hour versus a multi-day road trip. Your usual and beloved events alter somewhere along the journey; it hurts a little, but I'm more excited about finding something new. The same new things...the new joys and first-times.
