"Why are my partners not engaging in my sales training?" Because they don't care what your new, shiny feature is. Let's dive into this with some mistakes I've made. At Shield, we are a continuous exposure management platform - Think vulnerability management on steroids. I've done sales trainings with #MSPs, #MSSPs, and #MDR providers highlighting how great our product is. "Look at all of these misconfigurations that typically go unnoticed" or "We reduce the noise of vulnerabilities by 80%" - these stats or features typically get the reaction of "Sounds great..." and then weeks go by with no new customer conversations. You need to put yourself in your partners' shoes. Your partners probably do not care about every nook and cranny of your solution. They need to know the following: - How does this save me and my customers time? - How does this secure my customers better? - How does this make me money? Let's focus on the last one. Partners are not solely focused on making [insert your channel margin here] - You need to teach your partners how your solution enables them to sell other products and services. Here at Shield, we teach out security service providers how continuous exposure management helps them sell more: - #MDR - #EDR - #Pentests - #vCISO - and so much more I'll dive into this more next week. The platform effectively reduces false-positive occurrences, automating enrichment and automates containment whenever possible, allowing our teams to concentrate on areas that make a real difference. Building on the success of Aegis, the team has now implemented an AI model to further enhance the capabilities of our Cyber offering. • Cloud Team: We highlighted the continued evolution of our microservices-led managed services framework. This modular set of services allows customers to mix and match according to their business needs as they evolve. Additionally, we unveiled our Data Warehouse Solution, complemented by Data Engineering as a Service, which enables customers to rapidly extract value from their data. We also introduced our AI enablement strategy—a timely and crucial innovation that will help our customers accelerate and maximise their AI journey. • Digital Workplace Team: The team demonstrated the extensive benefits of Windows 11 for organisations. Microsoft’s next-generation operating system significantly enhances security, reliability, and usability. When combined with the transformative power of M365 Co-pilot, it can revolutionise productivity and improve the working environment. Our Digital Workplace team has developed remarkable products to accelerate the deployment of these technologies and, crucially, to measure the Return on Investment for our customers.
