Despite the world throwing challenges at us like a never-ending game of dodgeball, we stood our ground, dodged, ducked, and occasionally took a hit—but here we are, standing strong and united. As the year winds down, I find myself reflecting on everything the wins, the challenges, and the lessons in between. What went well? For me, it was leaning into opportunities I never thought I’d be ready for. From balancing motherhood, caregiving, and building a business, I surprised myself with how much I could handle when I stayed focused. What didn’t? Let’s be honest, some days I felt completely overwhelmed. Doubt crept in more than once, and there were times I felt like giving up. But those moments taught me the most. What did I learn? • Growth happens outside your comfort zone. • Progress isn’t about speed—it’s about consistency. • And most importantly, I’m capable of more than I ever imagined. As I step into the new year, my focus is clear: to continue showing up for myself, my family, and the people I’m helping along the way. What about you? Take a moment to look back. So this is happening today!! There’s loads of stats out there about how long new businesses survive. Apparently there was a high likelihood of us not making it to three!!! Guess we know what MDA Limited can do with those stats!! What have i learnt over these last three years? Mainly that everyone has an opinion on what you should and shouldn’t do as a business owner. 😡 You shouldn’t get an office ——— Well we did!!! 😡 You shouldn’t guarantee results ——— Well we do!!! 😡 You should be careful how you market yourself ——— nah you’re ok thanks But here’s the thing, if you’re running a business, it’s yours! Your time, your dedication, your vision, your risk!! Run it how you want and don’t take advice from people who pivot more than the American political system!! And most importantly, remember who wasn’t there at the beginning but turns up when the success comes!! Hope you have all had a good week.
