Does Truist get motion sickness moving so quick?

Once again disappointing results. Even with the sale of Truist Insurance Holding’s that is expected by the end of the second quarter here are my thoughts: (Earnings have been restated for the sale of THI) -Expenses are still only expected to be flat after continuing cuts to FTE -Efficiency ratio after years of cuts is still terrible which shows lack of discipline and leadership -Despite the attractive markets revenue is expected to be down 4-5% -Forecasting 3 rate cuts which shows a lack of transparency that 2 or less rate cuts are expected but did more down from 5 rate cuts -stock price is down approximately 25% in the last 5 years - did highlight small business growth (8600 with $700 million in deposits) -Undisclosed growth in Prime Auto but not Regional -More restructuring of the balance sheet of the bank and staff

“Feb 5 (Reuters) - Shares of New York Community Bancorp (NYCB.N) dropped more than 6% on Monday, resuming their descent after a one-day reprieve following a downgrade by ratings agency Fitch and a price target cut by brokerage Citigroup. The bank's shares had plunged nearly 45% in two days after reporting a surprise fourth-quarter loss due to higher provisions tied to its commercial real estate (CRE) portfolio. They pared losses on Friday before Fitch downgraded the bank's credit rating. JPMorgan fired the official starting gun on Q2 earnings Friday. JPM, WFC and C all opened under acute pressure after their reports. Goldman Sachs, Bank of America and PNC are due to report early next week. S&P 500 companies posted a 5.5% year-over-year earnings increase in Q1 2024 EPS, versus the quarter-end projected gain of 3.1%, according to Sam Stovall at CFRA. CFRA now projects an 8.1% increase for Q2. JPMorgan had its most profitable year ever. Earnings season began with a bang yesterday, as the four biggest banks in the US reported how they wrapped up 2023. JPMorgan Chase raked in $49.6 billion for the year—a 32% jump from 2022 that topped its previous record profit from 2021. But things weren’t so rosy everywhere: Citigroup posted a $1.8 billion loss for the final quarter and announced plans to lay off 20,000 employees. And Bank of America’s Q4 profit was $3.1 billion, which is 56% less than it made during the same quarter the year before.
