This is a short video showcasing one of our flex feeding systems. This unit can feed any stamping within a certain family of sizes and shapes. The belt can be encoded for vision tracking and robot picking. Backlights can also be added to the conveyor. If you look at the bowl, we have added reject areas for the machine builder to eject mixed wrong parts with vision in case the wrong part gets into the production run. This system does not need a return conveyor to the bowl as 100% of parts can be picked from the conveyor. With the conveyor running faster than the bowl, a constant gap is created for ease of robot vision pick. If there is a need for side orientation, a return belt is added for upside-down parts to feed back to the bowl and be turned over for positive orientation in the next circulation of feed.
