It's here....NALA Conference & Expo starts today! Be sure to visit Amanda Mosbaugh and Marin FitzSimmons at booth #304 for todays swag giveaways....Tote bags, Cookies, and Koozies with Seltzers!!! Trustpoint. One
Great looking booth and two of the best Directors of Discovery Services! If you haven't met these two ladies, get on over to Booth #304 at NALA Paralegals Conference & Expo.
#PyConUS Pro Tips:
- stay near the conference venue, within walking distance (15 minutes max)
- watch the talks and keynotes
- but you don't have to watch ALL the talks. Take breaks
- meet new people at hallway track, join new table at breakfast/lunch, introduce yourself
- prepare an"elevator pitch" about yourself
- don't need to pack too many shirts. Get t-shirt swag at sponsor booths at the expo hall (and socks)
- sprint
- volunteer
- tell everyone you know to come!
Any other tips?
This is brilliant on so many levels. is it easy? no. is it cheap? no. does it represent a revolution in thinking? hell yeah! will it revolutionize your attendee engagement? of course! for this to work, you need to let people know ahead of time(marketing!). You will probably need valet parking so you can control the cars. Valet parking at an event? that alone is going to make you stand out. If you also make a point of using environmentally responsible materials this can highlight your entire re-thinking and build a loyalty and trust among your attendees... just sayin...
What if...
Instead of useless swag at your regional/local roadshow event, you detailed every attendee's car while they were inside?

Go check out my friends at this event! This company will:
1️⃣ Save you time! Let’s face it, labor is EXPENSIVE! Paying techs, PM’s, estimators for hour(s) of sketching, photoing, entering in a sketch in Xactimate is a thing of the past. DocuSketch can get it done quickly AND efficiently. Your labor can focus on other restoration tasks to get the job done faster….(and hopefully save you money in payroll).
2️⃣ Make you MORE profitable. Ask them about AskAmy AI.
If this company will save you time and make you more profitable, why wouldn't you consider it?
#1 biggest event mistake?
Using events to collect emails NOT close deals.
When the event KPI is “butts in seats,”
Your event is just another expense for the CFO
……………………………………………………………………
When is the 1 time the customer is out in the open?
The event. This moment is business gold.
How to turn your event from cost center to profit center:
- Matchmaking & Demos
You have all the attendee info.
Enrich it with 0 party, 1st and 2nd party data.
You have info on the exhibitors / your own products.
Match the buyers with the best possible solutions.
Facilitate communication: messages, calls, demos
- Pre-Event Events
Ramp up convos with smaller local satellite events
Not only does this start deal flow
It also creates bulletproof community
- Hammer Home Deals @ Event
With matchmaking, intros, demos done,
Use the event to engage deeply with the customer
Possibly, close the deal!
What’s one tip you’d add to getting the most out of your event?
Could really use your feedback on this one.
Most conference swag and give-a-ways end up in the trash or brought home but never really used.
With SaaStr, Dreamforce, Inbound, SaaStock, Pavilion, and so many other big events happening in the next 60 days - how are y'all thinking about this.
What's been the best give-a-way you've either done or seen at a event before?

Keys to Event Swag Success: Intentional and Impressive!
Ever wonder what event marketers think about swag? The key is more intentional merch and less waste. "Tying swag to intention is everything," says Kate Bradley Chernis, founder and CEO of Lately. Trade show attendees should find meaning in the swag they pick up.
Merch done well isn't just about your brand. It's about what makes attendees go "Wow!" and want to share it. That's the end game. Make your swag unforgettable.
