Working through our EdgeIn pitch to scale to a few investors. It's got me thinking, I'm going to do this thinking more out loud, often.
Sure we will imitate these large centralized data networks to get going, but we need to have an open conversation. What is our innovation? Why should you care?
By design EDGX can't be a secret deal between investors and founders to rework and redo old big data businesses. It can't be a predatory model. It can't allow to be just another decentralized illusion. Users are too smart. We need to all play this transparently and straight.
Doing differently is just inconsistent with the mission, and not why/what/how we came here to build. This can't be about replacing an old scheme with just new data dictators.
So lets go!!!
Your data and network access is not a game. It's not about a transition of wealth from one tiny group to another tiny group. It's about redistribution of control to something you've missed, that's incredibly valuable, control and access without friction. Thats what's been taken from you in a 1000 user agreement clicks.
EdgeIn is undoing that. Starting in Web3 and moving tiny village to tiny village supporting your micro community using tags and filters with access to all the data, information, you need with future controls.
Your contribution can/should/will be counted. Hope to catch up as we build this out.
We must be fundamentally different.
This is your data, your network, it should be your control, access, and earnings too.... This is about how we engage with each other in the future as a community. How we connect to build.
The data "haves" and the data "have nots" gap should be the very first thing the decentralized community resolved... SMH... Here's to not just blathering on, here's to building.
Your data, your network, your keys, your earnings. Get to learn this mantra. It matters.
I'm testing a quick overview demo of the product... because you should launch early and be open to feedback. I think our deck sucks.. so deep breath.
Here's what we are focused on doing. Timelines are ambitious. But who want's to build something lame.
