As Thanksgiving approaches, I’ve been reflecting. Starting a business is no easy feat, but doing it with my husband has been one of the most fulfilling journeys of my life. We didn’t just dive into this as business partners. We’re partners in every sense of the word. Sharing the same dreams, drive, and ambitions has made navigating the ups and downs of entrepreneurship not just easier, but meaningful. Together, we’ve built something that feels bigger than us. We aren’t just running a business; we’re building a legacy for our family. Along the way, we’ve achieved milestones that once felt like far off dreams. We transformed our business from a remote operation into a thriving brick and mortar company. We’ve shared our story with the world through a Practical Machinist series, showcased the strength of our vision by winning a Warrior Rising business pitch competition, and earned the honor of serving on their Advisory Board. Sometimes, I can feel something huge calling me—bigger dreams, bigger opportunities, and I can’t wait to uncover it. Building this business has taught me that the journey is just as important as the destination. It’s in the late nights, the moments of uncertainty, and the victories, big and small, that we’re reminded of what we’re creating. More than anything, I hope this journey inspires our kids. We want them to see that no matter what life throws at you, with the right partner and the willingness to dream big, you can accomplish anything. The legacy we’re building isn’t just for us—it’s for them, and for every obstacle we’ve overcome together. I’ll end this with a reminder to anyone currently building their business.
