Back in the UK after A/L and a trip to NYC for the Insurtech Insights conference. It was great to meet with industry leaders and hear about the latest technology trends in the Insurance Sector, particularly how AI is disrupting the traditional insurance sector. Key takeaways from the conference: - Many companies are taking huge strides to incorporate AI, however this is only the tip of the Iceberg. AI is improving and speeding up claims processing, reportedly improving risk assessments and reducing fraudulent claims. - Virtual chatbots and assistants are improving customer experience. - Predictive Analysis is helping insurers anticipate customer needs, optimise pricing strategies and improve decision making. - As a result, there has been an increase for AI and cloud focused talent within the Insurance Sector.
