Having worked in the cross border payments sector for almost 9 months now, here’s one thing I have realized: The biggest players come with a single major advantage: access to multiple geographies and corridors through a single API. And how is that possible?: the art of aggregation of your licences held. Banks/PSPs in a particular country’s biggest pain point remains that if they want to offer multiple corridors to their customers from the singular infrastructure, they would have to look for integrations and legalities with multiple banks across multiple countries/continents, a clear regulatory headache for most.
